Abstract
The single crystals with two-leg spin-ladder-type structure were investigat ed. According to the structural, magnetic, optical and resistivity data obt ained, the studied crystals [A(2)Cu(2)O(3)](5)[CuO2](7) were shown, for the first time, to be high-T-c superconductors (T-c=80 K) which belong to the class of cuprates with incommensurate-type structure.
