Abstract
Vibrational correlation functions and dephasing times were determined from the bandshapes of the fundamental and first overtone of the OH st retching vibration in normal and deuterated triphenylsilanol. Modulati on parameters were determined in several independent ways. The depende nce of the bandshape and relaxation parameters on the deuteration and order of excitation was discussed. An estimation of the homogeneous an d inhomogeneous broadening contributions to the observed band profile was performed. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
