A new method for the precise estimation of the ionic mobilities was describ
ed. The procedure issues from the measurement of the time of moving boundar
y between leading and terminating electrolyte in the geometrically and ther
mometrically well-defined device for capillary isotachophoresis. An indirec
t method for the determination of mobilities of low movable ionic species w
as also derived. The ionic mobilities of some anionic pesticides and cation
ic drugs were measured. The procedure can be used for estimation of transfe
