Abstract
The refinement of technologies and the development of new techniques based on osteodensitometry requires a communication basis understandable to both the referring and the providing physician. The terminology and the acronyms of bone densitometry measurements should follow internationally accepted c onventionality. The correct utilization of the terminology is advocated and will reduce common entanglement.
