Abstract
We determine a class of time-dependent potentials that support the state re construction of one-dimensional wave packets. For this we extend the projec tion method (Leonhardt U and Raymer M G 1996 Phys. Rev. Lett. 76 1985) to e xplicitly time-dependent situations. We require the existence of Wronskian pairs (regular and irregular wavefunctions) and analyse the consequences on the possible potentials.
