Abstract
The phase transition under pressure up to 1 GPa in a relaxor-Pb(In1/2Nb1/2) O-3 (PIN) single crystal was investigated by X-ray diffraction. With increa sing applied pressure, the integrated intensity of the (3 2 0) Bragg reflec tion increases and that of the (3 2 0) diffuse scattering disappears, imply ing that the phase transition occurs from the relaxor phase to the normal f erroelectric phase.
