Abstract
Nature may not be interested in the survival of humanity. Homo sapiens is t he product of an adaptive evolution, but if the species continues to indulg e in unlimited reproduction and undisciplined exploitation of the earth's r esources, it may bring about its own destruction as well as the destruction of other species of animals and plants.
