We point out that the so-called 'radiative return' events e(+)e(-) --> Z ga
mma are suited to the study of nonstandard physics, particularly if the vec
tor bosons are emitted into the central detector region. An effective verte
x (amplitude) is constructed which contains the most general gauge invarian
t e(+)e(-)Z gamma interaction. The interference pattern between this and th
e Standard Model e(+)e(-)Z gamma amplitude is calculated. Phenomenolgocial
consequences of the results are examined. Low Energy Constraints on the eff
ective vertex are discussed as well. (C) 1999 Published by Elsevier Science
