Abstract
Characters are taken from the literature and their derived states determine d. The following higher classification of the Alydidae best agrees with the data: family Alydidae; subfamilies Alydinae and Micrelytrinae, the Alydina e with tribes Alydini and Daclerini; the Micrelytrinae with tribes Micrelyt rini and Leptocorisini: the latter with subtribes Leptocorisidi and Noliphi di.
