Abstract
Ashlockobius cursorius, new genus and species of myodochine lygaeoid is des cribed from Venezuela. The genus is related cladistically to Orthaea Dallas , Catenes Distant, Heraeus Stal and Myodocha Latreille. It is believed to b e an ant mimic. Figures are given of the details of the inflated phallus an d of the claspers. A color figure of the habitus is included.
