Abstract
A survey of parasites of the swift fox (Vulpes velox) was conducted in Colo rado during August 1989 and January 1990. One coccidean, six nematode, and one cestode species were identified from 14 foxes. Two tick and one flea sp ecies were collected from 22 foxes. None of 15 foxes sampled had evidence o f Dirofilaria immitis microfilaremia.
