Abstract
We describe in detail some techniques to construct high order ENO type sche mes on general meshes. We also discuss means of improving the efficiency us ing HARTEN's multiresolution, analysis and a parallel version, of the algor ithm. We provide several numerical examples and comparisons with more conve ntional schemes.
