Abstract
A two-dimensional distribution of the internal temperature of an object was reconstructed using the method of passive thermoacoustic tomography by the measurements of the acoustic brightness temperature at various angles. The reconstruction was performed by using the least squares technique, the met hod of elimination of nonphysical solutions, and the regularization accordi ng to Tikhonov.
