Abstract
The study presents analytical results of gold concentrations of some Egypti an gold ores. Six samples collected from mines in southeastern Egypt have b een analyzed using neutron activation analysis. The gamma-ray spectra obtai ned were collected with high resolution hyper-pure germanium detection syst em and a computerized multichannel analyzer. The results are compared with previous measurements obtained by fire assay and atomic absorption spectros copy. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
