Abstract
N-Substituted 2-formylpyrroles react with diethyl azodicarboxylate aff ording products derived from Michael additions at the C-5 position of the pyrrole ring and radical reactions on the formyl group; with 4-phe nyl-1,2,4-triazole-3,5-dione Michael adducts only were isolated.
