Narrative therapy in a managed care world

Two trends affecting clinical practice in the 1990s which appear to be inco mpatible are narrative therapy and managed care. This article discusses way s in which these two trends affect practice and education for practice and how they may or may not fit together. Recommendations for improving the fit between narrative therapy and managed care are discussed.
