Abstract
The even numbered gamma(delta)-thionolactones (C-6-C-12) were investigated, using heptakis(2,3-di-O-methyl-6-O-tert-butyldimethylsilyl)- and heptakis( 2,3-di-O-acetyl-6-O-tert- butyldimethylsilyl)-beta-cyclodextrin as chiral s tationary phases in capillary gas chromatography. The odor characteristics of gamma(delta)-thionolactone enantiomers were investigated by enantioselec tive gas chromatography/olfactometry.
