Abstract
Oblique facial clefts constitute approximately 0.20% of all facial malforma tion cases in Japan and approximately 0.22% in other countries. In the pres ent study, the proportion in our institute was approximately 0.21%, which i s almost equal to that reported by WILSON et al.(24). The ratio of male and female patients did not differ significantly from that in other countries.
