Abstract
A set of 22 basalt glasses was prepared For the determination of Ba, Sr, an d Sc impurities with concentrations of 0.03-7% in vitreous substances. The glasses were tested for homogeneity and stability under the action of a pro be and certified. Metrological characteristics of standard reference sample s were determined according to GOST (State Standard) 8.532-85. Class sample s were used for the development of a procedure: for the determination of ba rium, strontium, and scandium in vitreous substances at a level of 7% (RSD = 3% on average for all elements) to 0.03% for Ba (RSD = 36%), 0.05% for Sr (RSD = 59%), and 0.01% for Sc (RSD = 69%).
