On Strong Mori domains

In this note we investigate properties of Strong Mori domains, which form a proper subclass of Mori domains. In particular, we show that Strong Mori d omains satisfy the Principal Ideal Theorem, the Hilbert Basis Theorem and t he Krull Intersection Theorem. We also provide some new characterizations o f Krull domains and show that the complete integral closure of a Strong Mor i domain is a Krull domain. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.
