Abstract
High yield synthesis of the stable Er-containing alkoxides Er5O(OiPr)(13), ErAl3(OiPr)(12), Er4TiO (OiPr)(14), Er2Ti4O2(OEt)(18) (HOEt)(2) and Er2Zr2O (OiPr)(12)(HOiPr)(3) is described. The solid state single-crystal X-ray det ermined structures are given and FT-IR spectroscopy is used to compare the structures of the solid and dissolved states. It was shown that all structu res remained close to intact in solution.
