Abstract
Rotational bands based on the pi g(9/2) structure have been assigned for th e first time in Pr-127 and Pr-128, through GAMMASPHERE measurements. This e xtends the region of these bands of enhanced deformation down to N = 68 and 69, the lightest Pr isotopes for which this structure has been observed.
