Abstract
The large oblate deformation of the Se-69 g(9/2), band was proven by the DS A analysis of the 13/2(+) --> 11/2(+) 403 keV transition measured via S-32( Ca-40, 2pn)Se-69 at 125 MeV beam energy with six escape suppressed EUROBALL Cluster detectors at +/-44 degrees. Applying the model of a rigid axial-sy mmetric rotor the determined lifetime resulted in \beta(2)\ is an element o f [0.24,0.85].
