Nuclear structure at extreme isospin

Exotic nuclei far off P-stability and asymmetric nuclear matter are investi gated using nuclear many-body theory Ground and excited states of dripline nuclei are described by HFB and QRPA theory, respectively The structure of single nucleon halo nuclei is found to be mainly determined by dynamical co re polarization. Applications to recent data on longitudinal momentum distr ibutions from breakup reactions are discussed. Results on neutron skins in medium and heavy exotic nuclei are presented.
