Abstract
An effective-field theory is used to study the effect of anisotropic and am orphized surfaces on the critical behaviors of films. In addition to the ph ase diagrams, which show interesting features as reetrance and wetting phen omena, we find a number of characteristic behaviors of the surface magnetiz ation both in the absence and in the presence of crystal-field interactions .
