Reliability analysis of the Inventory of Motivations of AIDS Volunteerism.

This study analyze the reliability of the Inventory of Motivations for AIDS Volunteerism and its factorial structure with a Spanish sample of 130 volu nteers. Results show the high internal consistency of the Inventory of Moti vations (0.9). The factorial results have revealed that this questionaire s hows a structure of five factores that explainthe 64.4% of the variance. Th is is consistent with the Funcional Approach of the Motivation of Omoto and Snyder. However, some differences have appeared between both factorial str uctures, due to the different composition of the sample.
