Abstract
Asymmetric cyclopropanation of styrene by an enantiopure carbenoid under ca talysis by simple metalloporphyrins was found to be much more efficient and selective than the alternative approach, the combination of metal complexe s of enantiopure porphyrins and a non-chiral diazoester.
