Chromophobe cell renal carcinoma is a recently established subtype of renal
cell carcinoma, Herein we report a case of chromophobe cell renal carcinom
a in a 67-year-old male patient who occasionally underwent computed tomogra
phy, In a microscopic study with hematoxylin and eosin stain, clear eosinop
hilic cytoplasm, and a moderately atypical nucleus were observed, And it wa
s stained positively by Hale's colloidal iron. Ultrastructurally, the cytop
lasm was filled with numerous microvesicles. From these results, this tumor
was pathologically diagnosed as chromophobe cell renal carcinoma.
