Abstract
The structure analysis of the compound [(H3O)(18-Krone-6)]I-7 has been repe ated. The already known structure could now be described with improved prec ision. The unique polyiodide chain (1)(infinity)[(I(-.)2I(2)). I-2] map be derived from the regular three dimensional iodide-iodine lattice (1)(infini ty)[I(-.)3I(2)] by separation.
