Abstract
Chronic occlusion of the left main coronary artery is rare with less than 1 00 reported cases. The treatment is essentially surgical but medical manage ment has been proposed. This case report illustrates the prognostic benefit of surgical management in view of the risk of secondary occlusion of the p roximal right coronary artery.
