La. Dobrzanski et al., STRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF W-MO-V-CO 11-0-2-5-TYPE AND W-MO-V 11-0-2-TYPE HIGH-SPEED STEELS, Journal of materials processing technology, 64(1-3), 1997, pp. 93-99
The paper presents comparison of results of investigations into phase
transformation in W-Mo-V-Co type 11-0-2-5 and W-Mo-V type 11-0-2 high-
speed steels. The maximum hardness respectively 66 HRC and 64.5 HRC in
vestigated steels have after quenching at the temperature of 1240 degr
ees C and tempering at the temperature of 540 degrees C. Secondary har
dening in these steels is due mainly to precipitation of fine M4C3 car
bides and also to martensitic transformation of retained austenite int
o alpha phase.
