Abstract
The incidence of unilateral, but not bilateral, retinoblastoma in human pop ulations at different geographical locations increases significantly with a mbient erythemal dose of ultraviolet B radiation from sunlight. This suppor ts the hypothesis that sunlight plays a role in retinoblastoma formation.
