K. Hansen et al., Comment on "Photofragmentation of C-60 in seeded supersonic molecular beams: effects of ro-vibrational cooling", CHEM P LETT, 301(1-2), 1999, pp. 105-108
Biasioli et al. (Chem. Phys. Lett. 270 (1997) 115) have suggested that the
observation of abundance anomalies in mass spectra of laser ionised and fra
gmented C-60 is due to a strong dependence on the initial rotational and vi
brational state of the molecules. We point out that the effects can be due
to the presence of clusters of fullerenes in the apparatus. (C) 1999 Elsevi
