Abstract
We previously reported on photofragmentation of C-60 in a supersonic He-see ded beam showing effects induced by re-vibrational cooling. In a Comment, H ansen et al, (Chem. Phys. Lett. 301 (1999) 105, this issue) pointed out tha t the observed experimental features could be explained by the presence of clusters in our beam. Here we show from experimental data and calculations that the presence of clusters, if any, should be only marginal in our exper imental conditions so that it cannot explain the relevant effects present i n our data.
