Abstract
Multiple resonances and polarisation of a single layer probe fed wideband m icrostrip U-slot patch antenna are discussed. Results show that the radiati on characteristics, such as polarisation and gain, are modified within the bandwidth owing to the excitation of resonant modes orthogonal to each othe r.
