Myofibroblastic tumors of the breast: A histologic spectrum with a case ofrecurrent male breast myofibrosarcoma

The breast is a site of choice of the benign myofibroblastic lesions, but o nly three myofibrosarcomas have been reported, and only one was in the male breast. We report three tumors of the male breast with the features of myo fibroblastic differentiation. These tumors comprise a spectrum including tw o benign neoplasms with a different histologic aspect and one recurrent sar coma of myofibroblasts with a 10-year followup. This is the fourth case to be reported of mammary myofibroblastic sarcoma and the second case in the m ale breast.
