Abstract
The composition of catches, age and growth of the bream were analyzed and s ome biological parameters calculated. The Beverton-Holt theoretical models were applied to study the dynamics of the bream population, to assess the e ffects of both different fishing intensities and age at first capture on th e biomass and the yield of the population, and to evaluate the status of ut ilization of the bream. Suggestions for fishery management were put forward .
