Abstract
A complete set of experimentally derived climate-relevant radiative paramet
ers of mineral dust from a measurement campaign made in Senegal are present
ed and applied to estimate the shortwave radiative forcing by the desert ae
rosol. The experimental results are used for the validation of existing aer
