Abstract
Soft tissue sarcomas include only 0.7% of all malignancies and leiomyosarco mas constitute about 10% of all sarcomas. Very rarefy leiomyosarcoma may pr esent as multifocal primaries. We report a 65-year-old patient with multipl e subcutaneous nodules. During the investigation period the patient had hem atemesis and melena. Upper gastro-intestinal endoscopy was performed and mu ltiple polipoid lesions were discovered in the duodenum. The rest of gastro intestinal system was normal with barium graphies. Biopsies from the subcut aneous nodules and duodenal lesions showed leiomyosarcoma. Although we cann ot rule out the possibility of metastases, we strongly consider a multicent ric origin since no other metastasis is present and duodenal lesions are al so multiple.
