Abstract
Three-fold, stereoselective Wittig reactions between benzene-1,3,5-tri carbaldehyde 4 and fluoren-9-ylidene(triphenyl)phosphine 5 furnished a n interesting C-48-hydrocarbqn of C-3 symmetry whose crystal structure has been determined.
