Abstract
A method is proposed for measuring the period of distorted signals with a d e component. Tts properties and systematic errors axe investigated, The eff ects of instrumental errors of measuring circuits used to measure sampled s ignal periods and the effects of higher harmonic components are discussed. The principal results of theoretical analysis are confirmed by mathematical simulation of the measuring process.
