Abstract
In this paper, a filter-debugger and a memory-trace generator software tool (DGT) are considered. DGT analyses executable files under the DOS operatin g system for the instruction set architecture based on the Intel 80 x 86 mi croprocessor family. The methodology used for creating this tool is given. Also, a practical result for illustrating some characteristics of the devel oped tool is presented. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.
