Abstract
An electric probe is used between two crossed coupled combline resonators i n order to realize the required electric coupling for a six-pole elliptic f unction filter This realization eliminates the need for resonators with lon g posts, providing filter. compactness and offering a flexible and wide ran ge of couplings. The measured frequency response of the lifter shows good a greement with the theoretical analysis. (C) 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
