Abstract
Samples of sodium titanate were prepared from titanium dioxide, isopropoxid e, and propoxide. The samples were characterized by X-ray phase analysis. O nly the sample prepared from titanium isopropoxide appeared to be homogeneo us. With this sample the Na+/H+ ion exchange was studied, and a high select ivity toward hydrogen was revealed.
