Abstract
Microbiosensors for nitrate and methane have been constructed with dia meters down to 30 mu m. Both sensors are characterized by linear respo nses to their substrates and 90% response times from 10-120 s. The eff icient diffusional transport at a micrometer scale makes it possible t o utilize new concepts in the construction of biosensors.
