Abstract
The crystal structure of mixed-cation fluoantimonate(III) NaCs3Sb4F16 . H2O is Studied. The crystals are monoclinic: a = 21.694(3), b = 15.791(3), c = 6.290(1) Angstrom, gamma = 114.37(1)degrees, V = 1962.8(6) Angstrom(3), Z = 4, rho(calcd) = 4.165 g/cm(3), rho(exp) - 4.15 g/cm(3), F(000) = 2136.0, space group B2/m. The structural units of the crystal are the Na+ and Cs+ c ations, the H2O molecules, and the infinite anionic chains [Sb2F8](n)(2n-) comprised of the apex-shared SbF5E polyhedra.
