Abstract
The performance characteristics of high gradient magnetic filters composed of spherical ferromagnetic granules are determined in terms of dimensionles s parameters for a wide range of system parameters. The results obtained ar e used to overcome some contradictions seen in the literature related to ma gnetic filters. They are in a good agreement with the experimental data giv en in the literature for the filters used in laboratories and industry.
