Abstract
RuCl2(PPh3)(3) catalyzed isomerization of the Baylis-Hillman adducts i.e. m ethyl 3-aryl-3-hydroxy-2-methylenepropanoates to methyl 3-aryl-2-methyl-3-o xopropanoates has been described.
