Kinetic peculiarities of degradation of polycarbonates of various structure
in dimethylformamide under the influence of the products of electrochemica
l reduction of (C4H9)(4)NClO4 solution in dimethylformamide the background
solution have been investigated. It has been shown that the process (which
may be determined as an indirect electrochemical reductive degradation) pro
ceeds via nucleophilic catalytic mechanism.
