Abstract
Cross-coupling reactions of alpha-acetoxy carboxylic acid chlorides with or ganocopper reagents, derived from Grignard reagents, cuprous bromide and li thium bromide, provide a simple and straightforward method for the synthesi s of enantiopure alpha-acetoxy ketones.
